About Me

Dian Jin earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University, where he was advised by Prof. Yuqian Zhang. Previously, he also had the privilege of working with Prof. Xin Bing at the University of Toronto and Prof. Qiaosheng(Eric) Zhang at the Shanghai AI Lab. His research focuses on theoretical guarantees for statistical methods in machine learning and non-convex optimization, as well as their application to real-world problems.
